Eric DeGraff has founded Services and Knowledge Management companies, one of which evolved to X-Feds. X-Feds has provided multiple engineering and program management services to the Department of Navy programs. Mr. DeGraff has provided Business development and Sales planning and strategic services to a number of commercial companies and defense contractors along with other Defense related integrators and IT providers to help guide their efforts in their approach to various DoD programs.
Prior to founding X-Feds, Mr. DeGraff worked for the Government as a Program Manager and multiple engineering positions for such programs as NMCI, BLII, F/A-18, UAV-MR, and DMS. He holds DAWIA Level 3 certifications in Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Test and Evaluation.
Chris Brown joined X-Feds in order to expand our business consulting practice. Chris will be helping our clients positioning them in to Government accounts. His background is vast in the Technical Sales arena and he has just finished a long stint at IBM Global Sales Unit. Chris first joined IBM in 2006 as a Consultative Sales Representative in the IBM Information Management Brand and Threat Prediction & Prevention solution unit, a role in which he worked with leaders across the US Federal Department of Homeland Security and Intelligence Community landscape in harnessing the value of Big Data & Analytics to address their most pressing mission and business initiatives — in the areas of law enforcement, intelligence, insider threat, continuous evaluation and vetting, and counter terrorism. Chris has helped implement some of the United States Government most crucial vetting, and counter terrorism missions. He is still very active in helping support those missions.
Chris served as a World Wide Strategic Mission Advisor & Client Advocate in the IBM Safer Planet Solutions Unit, a role in which he brought IBM’s substantial expertise and capabilities in Intelligence and Law Enforcement to support Government Leaders in plotting the path to mission optimization. In this role he also serves as a key client advocate to ensure IBM brings the best possible resources and capabilities from across the company to address our clients most thorny challenges.
Chris has over 30 years of client experience in the Federal and Commercial markets. Chris has held executive positions at SunSoft Inc, Unix Systems Labs, and AT&T. He has planned, implemented & executed the start up of four Federal Sales Divisions for software companies and founded a consulting company, KLT, Inc. In addition, Chris was cofounder of Softway Systems which was eventually acquired by the Microsoft Corporation. Chris started his career at Lanier, where he was the leading salesperson in the United States for his entire tenure.
Chris holds active security clearances with the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security. He holds degrees from University of Maryland in Marketing and Finance, and has held several positions on the University of Maryland Alumni Association Board of Governors. Chris has also served as Chairman of the Marketing & Membership Committee for the University of Maryland Alumni Association and served on the board of the Terrapin Club supporting fund raising for the University of Maryland student Athletes and is very active with the Wounded Warrior projects in the State of Maryland and California.
